At Is The Last Pixel (https://isthelastpixel.com), we believe in being transparent about how we collect and use data related to you. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them (and how third parties use them), and what your choices are to control them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit save on your computer, mobile phone, or other device. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners.

We also include under this term other browser local storage technologies, such as Local Storage or Session Storage.

2. How we use cookies (Our Cookies)

Given the nature of our website (a static serverless architecture with no user accounts), Is The Last Pixel uses an absolute minimum of first-party cookies.

  • We do not use cookies to track your personal identity.
  • We do not use cookies for logins (since there are no user accounts).
  • Tools Local Storage: Some of our client-side interactive tools may use your browser's local storage (Local Storage) to temporarily save visual configurations or your progress while using the tool. This data never leaves your browser, is not sent to our servers, and you can delete it at any time simply by closing the tab or clearing the cache.
  • Consent cookie: We will use a strictly necessary cookie solely to remember if you have accepted or rejected our cookie notice, so as not to bother you again with the same message on each visit.

3. Third-Party Cookies (Google AdSense)

In order to offer our content and tools for free, we fund this project through advertising. Therefore, we allow third-party companies to use cookies on our website.

Google AdSense:

We use Google AdSense to serve ads when you visit our website. Google and its partners use cookies to display relevant ads to you based on your previous visits to Is The Last Pixel and other sites on the Internet.

  • Advertising cookies: Google uses cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) that enable it and its partners to serve ads based on the user's browsing history.
  • These cookies allow for limiting the number of times you see an ad, measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and personalizing ads so they are of interest to you.
  • We have no control over these third-party cookies or the privacy policies of the advertisers.

Infrastructure (Cloudflare):

Our website is distributed globally through the Cloudflare network to ensure it loads quickly and securely. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security reasons (for example, to detect malicious traffic or DDoS attacks). These cookies do not track users individually.

4. Your choices: How to control or delete cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies (such as advertising cookies).

For Google advertising:

You may opt out of the use of personalized advertising cookies by Google at any time by visiting the Google Ads Settings.

You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

From your web browser:

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings options. You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent. Please note that if you disable cookies, some visual configuration features in our client tools may not be saved for your next session.
